About the role
We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer to join the team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will act as a UX visionary by understanding market trends and translating them into viable service offerings.
Alongside this, the candidate will have knowledge of the full digital arena and be able to draw upon their passion for web, intranets, mobile, online marketing and more.
Main duties
The UX Designer will be responsible for the design of web-based business applications that meet business and usability objectives, including: developing user scenarios; producing site maps; developing UML cases and flow diagrams; producing and owning page/task flows; and designing, producing and maintaining all project user-interface specifications.
Skills and experience
You will need:
- a passion for all things digital
- a degree in a relevant subject
- 3 years or more relevant digital agency experience
- experience of prototyping tools – paper techniques, Freehand & Fireworks MX, Dreamweaver, Flash
- experience of diagramming tools – Visio, Omnigraffle, Illustrator
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- a confident and professional attitude to work
- excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
