About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Strategist to help define our vision, strategic framework and solutions against client needs and specific business goals. This highly collaborative role interfaces heavily with other key members of the team at TH_NK and C-level client contacts. The successful candidate may be the lead digital strategist on one or more key accounts and/or brands, and will be required to take on additional project work as appropriate.

This individual will have a passion for digital trends and technologies as well as a deep understanding of how consumers use and experience digital media. The Digital Strategist will partner alongside senior-level strategists and account leaders to help define how our clients’ brands, products and services are communicated and experienced in today’s dynamic digital space.

Main duties

The Digital Strategist will engage with clients to identify key strategic challenges and business, marketing opportunities and digital requirements. The right person will have the ability to lead digital strategy conversations with a strong focus on business analysis, financial modelling, differentiated digital experiences, key digital capabilities and/or road mapping. They will proactively seek out opportunities to enhance client relationships and ‘elevate the conversation’ within client organisations. 

The Digital Strategist will define a digital programme’s strategic vision and business goals to guide strategy development and execution. They will also play an active role in business development, help to prepare proposals, RFI/P documents and participate in presentations.

Skills and experience

You will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior digital strategist's role
  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and strong academic skills in maths and English
  • Experience of solving problems through a ‘hypothesis’ driven approach using a combination of top-down and bottom-up analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – you must be dynamic and persuasive in presenting ideas to existing and prospective clients
  • Strong leadership, delegation and organisational skills
  • Expert knowledge of digital advertising, digital strategy and basic technology issues
  • The ability to learn and assimilate new ideas quickly and gain the respect of team members and clients
  • A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
