Strengthening our account management team with new recruits

We're delighted to announce the appointment of our new Client Services Director, Louise Holland and Account Manager, Karen Ashtiani who bring a boost to our account management team.

Karen Ashtiani and Louise Holland

Louise joins TH_NK to head-up our account management team, bringing with her a wealth of in-house experience encompassing the delivery of large scale Web projects across a diverse range of sectors.

As part of her previous role at Nike, she was responsible for launching the company's B2B portal, enabling retailers to trade with the manufacturer online and, following this success, progressed rapidly to become UK and Ireland Divisional Sales Manager.

Prior to that, Louise worked at software giant, Sage, where as Manager of Sage.com, she managed the development of the website from the early days through to it becoming a robust platform for business support.

As well as developing relationships with TH_NK's high profile clients, Louise's role will involve working closely with the account management team to deliver online marketing strategies, experience design, technical design and build, tracking and measurement, and search marketing.

I've always been inspired by the Internet and the vast potential it opens up for businesses, so I'm really excited to be able to bring my in-depth experience of working on the client side to an agency environment. As well as being able to work alongside TH_NK's talented team to develop my knowledge of digital techniques, I'm also enjoying the challenge of helping the company achieve its next phase of growth as it continues to expand on a national level.

Karen Ashtiani joins the company as Account Manager after relocating to the North East from London, bringing with her a track record in media planning for a number of high profile brands.

As Media Planning Manager at Media Com, she managed media spend for clients such as Muller and Skoda while, prior to that, a stint at PhD saw her increase the online media spend for clients such as BMI and BBC Worldwide. Having always championed online media to her clients, her new role at TH_NK sees her take on new challenges as she applies her strategic planning skills to focus on Web development and managing the online offering for clients such as TNS Global and Bonhams.

I'm delighted to welcome both Louise and Karen to the team. Louise's experience managing high-level industry issues for a range of businesses is invaluable in her role as Client Services Director. Karen also brings a new edge to the account management team with a track record in national brand experience – something we are keen to develop as we continue to grow our national client portfolio both here in the North East and with our growing operation in London.
