We are continuing to build on our success as we take on six new web developers to help fulfil growing demand for our innovative digital marketing services - Damien Foggon, Chris Wayman, Ian Mullen, Adrian Pease, Rey Dhuny and David Joseph.
Damien Foggon, 32, of Newcastle joins as Development Manager bringing high level technical experience both from his previous role at Sunderland based new media specialists, Leighton, where he was a senior Developer and from Little Pond where he was Technical Director.
With projects spanning many high profile brands to his name - from Newcastle Airport to style and music sites, MeanFiddler and Dazed Digital - he will be taking a technical lead across overall site development, technical design as well as team management.
Another adventurous new starter, Taekwondo expert Chris Wayman, 24, joins the team as an Applications Developer. Bringing a solid three years experience in this role he joins from 2Touch in Sunderland where he dealt with clients including RNLI, Letts (FiloFax), Royal Bank of Scotland and Britvic. A graduate in Multimedia Computing with Internet Technology from Salford University, Chris is looking forward to broadening his horizons with a company that strives to lead the way with the latest technologies.
Entrepreneurial Web Developer Ian Mullen, 30, from Durham is coming to TH_NK after working as an independent consultant developing websites for a wide range of clients including Wansbeck Council and Blooter.com. During that time he also received a Web Site Accessibility Accreditation Award from Ability Net.
Adrian Pease, 27, is another Web Developer to join from Leighton where he gained valuable experience focussing on British Airways projects. Prior to this he worked for International Paint (Akzo Nobel) as an Applications Developer where he helped design and develop their internet, Intranet and Extranet platform after graduating from Sunderland University with a 1st BSc (Hons) In Computing.
Also joining the web developer team as part of our graduate scheme is Rey Dhuny, 23 from Durham.
Finally, when he's not bungee jumping from 100ft cranes, high-flyer David Joseph, 30 joins TH_NK as a Web Developer from the Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) where he was responsible for designing the Pension Credit Calculator and also played a key role in all government websites ran by the DWP.
We have attracted a fantastic calibre of developers over the last few months thanks to our culture and forward-thinking nature. It's great to have so many talented individuals working and collaborating together at this exciting time.
