Finding high-calibre web developers with unrivalled knowledge is a tough task. But now we're delighted to have landed six of the best experts to join our ever-growing development team. They are Ben Anderson, James Allis, Ian Wood, Michael White, Jason Hed

First off, Ben Anderson comes on board as a Development Manager. As well as being musically gifted (playing both the drums and the Northumbrian pipes, but not at the same time may we add), Ben also brings with him a host of software architecture, design and implementation experience. Having previously worked for BT and being involved in masses of software security implementation, he is looking forward to helping us improve our efficiency and service as we go forward.

We then have our three client-side web developers. James Allis, is a Northumbria University graduate with a BSc in Computing for Business. He comes to TH_NK from SBsquared where he amassed experience in brand development, website design and front end development. He’s looking forward to working with larger clients and of course, becoming a seasoned player on the pool table and Xbox 360!

Working alongside him will be Ian Wood. Although he studied engineering , Ian developed a passion for the web whilst at University and is impressively a self-taught web developer. His fresh enthusiasm will allow him to step up the challenge of building great, accessible, well designed sites.

Michael White is another new starter who previously provided technical support for Apple’s business and home users. Mick will work on client side coding, CSS, XHTML and JavaScript for Northern Rock and is keen to progress his skills.

On the server-side, we welcome Irishman Jonathan McNamee, to the city who comes from TeamRespond in Dublin. In addition to his many tales from the Emerald Isle, he holds a BSc in Computer Applications and cites his reason for choosing TH_NK as being our ‘friendly approach to development, which a lot of companies often promise but rarely deliver’.

Last but not least is Jason Hedges. The Application Developer came to TH_NK because he wants to ‘work for a young, vibrant IT company that’s interested in developing its people as well as its business’. A developer that wants to develop!

It is always rewarding to recruit high calibre individuals into the development team at TH_NK. Our latest round of recruitment is no exception and I’m delighted to welcome such an eclectic mix of individuals, and look forward to them all adding to the dynamic of an already successful team.
