International health and care specialist, Bupa, has appointed TH_NK to revolutionise the direction of its business by advising on its digital strategy for 2012 and beyond.
Bupa is a global healthcare organisation that operates across three continents and 192 countries. Known in the UK for its private healthcare services, Bupa has more than 7 million customers worldwide and 40,000 employees offering a range of healthcare services including care homes, insurance and health assessments.
We have already began an extensive phase of research to gain insight and understanding into all areas of Bupa’s business relating to the digital arena - from websites and online marketing to the technology devices that drive the healthcare landscape of the future.
Now looking forward to the next stage of the project, we will be using key findings from our research into their business, industries and consumers to help inspire innovative ideas which will take Bupa forward.
Following the success of the first stage of the 2012 project, Bupa is looking to utilise TH_NK’s expertise in other areas. We have begun guiding the team through their first steps into the world of Web 2.0 and designing concepts to deepen consumer engagement around their sponsorship of major events such as the Great North Run and the Bupa Wellness proposition.
At the same time, we are also collaborating with Bupa on the redesign of their new website, using in-depth consumer insight and understanding to develop a high quality user-centric experience as well as a contemporary visual design.
Our programme with TH_NK has enabled us to quickly create the platform from which we can plan and deliver the online capabilities that will ensure we deliver real value to our customers across the business through the online channel.
