TH_NK is the place to be for Northumbria University graduate, Jo Tweedie, 25, as she takes up a full-time position as a designer after gaining first hand industry experience at the company during her placement year.

Determined to embrace every opportunity, Fenham based Jo not only spent her second year working closely with our creative team as part of her Multimedia Design degree, she also worked at TH_NK one day a week during her final year, ensuring she was kept up to speed on changes within the fast moving digital industry.

Having graduated with a 2:1 she is delighted to be joining the award-winning team on a permanent basis as demand continues to grow for our innovative digital marketing services.

Originally from Edinburgh, Jo was attracted to the role at TH_NK because of the company's young, vibrant and energetic approach. Her role as a designer offers a huge variety of responsibilities - heavily involved in idea generation and conceptual thinking, Jo helps to design all aspects of website content, from flash banners and webskins to style guides, while her particular area of expertise is in the digital use of sound in Web technology.

This passion has also inspired her to transfer these skills from the screen to the decks as she makes her name as an up and coming DJ in bars and clubs around Newcastle.

We are really pleased to welcome Jo back to TH_NK - she really shares our creative approach to new web technologies and it's great that she wants to stay with us to progress her career. We recognise the level of talent coming out of the North East's colleges and universities and are determined to continue creating the right opportunities and environment to attract the brightest graduates, both regionally and nationally.
