Banging the drum for the North East's booming digital industry

TH_NK has picked up prestigious award - North East Digital Agency of the Year - in the New Year honours list of marketing industry title, The Drum.

A string of successes for TH_NK in 2006 included projects as diverse as the online launch of urban day spa, Serenity in the City and an interactive Web survey for the Learning and Skills Council - part of a rapidly expanding client portfolio leading to the recruitment of more than 20 new employees in the past 12 months.

As part of this expansion, we are also continuing to reinforce the region's position as a leading centre for 21st Century digital industry growth as we prepare to announce a host of new business wins and settle into our new 6500 sqft base at Newcastle's 55 Degrees North building.

Being named as The Drum's North East Digital Agency of 2006 rounds off what has been a record award-winning year for TH_NK, with founder and MD Tarek Nseir picking up The Journal's Young Businessperson of the Year and also Newcastle University Business School's David Goldman prize for business innovation. We were also recently named Top Interactive Agency in the North East by industry bible, New Media Age.

This award tops off both a challenging and truly fantastic year for the TH_NK team. Not only have we picked up a string of prestigious awards but we have completed a long awaited move to our spectacular new premises in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. With lots of exciting developments ahead, winning North East Digital Agency of the Year just boosts our determination that 2007 will see TH_NK going from strength to strength.
