We’re playing in a six-a-side football tournament on Saturday 10th July at Soccarena in Durham alongside teams from Ernst & Young, Visualsoft, Northern Rail and Attends.

The tournament will kick off at 11.00am on Saturday and will run until about 3.30pm when the winning team will be crowned champions. There will be ten teams split in to two leagues, with the top two from each league moving through to the final when the heat will really step up.

There will be prizes and trophies for the winners and runners up, top goal scorer and players’ player of the tournament – and there will also be a sports masseur on-site to alleviate tired muscles and relieve stress from dodgy ref decisions. (Not that we’re saying there will be any of course.) So, even though England didn’t perform so well in the World Cup, there’s still hope for TH_NK on the pitch tomorrow. 

We’re all really looking forward to the tournament at Soccarena. These kind of events really bring out my competitive side. I know, it’s the taking part that counts, but it does feel good to win.
