We’re delighted to welcome Gavin Wye, Leon Howes and Satish Shewhorak to the team this week to help us with growing business demand in our Creative, User Experience and Client Services departments.

Gavin Wye joins us as a UX Designer in London where he will work alongside the team to craft the most engaging and innovative digital experiences for our clients and their customers. Gavin has over seven years’ experience of running and managing user-experience research and design projects and has bags of know-how in ethnographic field work, user-centred design and prototyping – and that’s just for starters. He has worked with clients including ITV, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel, and is also a keen blogger and a participant of the London and Brighton UX communities.

Talented designer, Leon Howes has returned to the Creative team in Newcastle where he will be designing beautiful interfaces and developing the most creative ideas for a wide range of blue-chip clients. Leon previously worked at TH_NK from December 2003 to March 2007 and has delivered a diverse selection of web and mobile projects for clients in the residential, finance and banking, online betting, healthcare and travel industries. When he’s not creating stunning interfaces, Leon likes nothing better than scuba diving in the chilly North Sea, watching the latest movies, and putting his heart through its paces at boot camp.

Also new to the team in Newcastle is Satish Shewhorak who joins us as an Account Manager with a breadth of skills, knowledge and experience in the digital sector. In his role at TH_NK, Satish will manage day-to-day client relationships and help to formulate and develop a range of exciting, long-term digital strategies together with our Account Director and the wider team. As well as having over five years’ experience of account management within the digital industry, Satish also took the entrepreneurial initiative to start moShine Animation Studio with three other partners in 2004 which showcased work at festivals, concerts and award shows around the world.

We are delighted to welcome Gavin and Satish to the team – and it’s fantastic to have Leon back too, doing what he does best in the Creative department. It’s a really exciting time at TH_NK, both in terms of our recruitment drive and the high-profile projects we’re working on, so there couldn’t be a better time for all three recruits to join us.
