TH_NK wins Digital Impact Award for Northern Rock mortgages website
On 21st September, TH_NK won the ‘best use of digital by sector’ award at Communicate Magazine’s Digital Impact Awards for our work on the Northern Rock mortgages site.
The transformed mortgages website now makes it easier for customers to find a mortgage and learn more about the home-buying process. As well as containing lots of useful advice and information for different customer groups, it also includes a range of new tools such as a jargon buster, budget planner and overpayment calculator to take the complexity out of the mortgage-selection process. As a result, the Northern Rock mortgages website has seen the average time spent on the site increase 56 per cent and there has been an increasing number of people expressing an interest in applying for a mortgage.
It’s been fantastic working with Northern Rock to simplify the mortgage-selection process for customers. Winning this award is testament to the hard work of the team – it’s great news.

The award presentation was held at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill to celebrate excellence in digital stakeholder communications. FT.com, Echo Research for the Liberal Democrats, Omobono for Ocean Sky, Echo Research for Syngenta and Citigate Dewe Rogerson for TalkTalk were also shortlisted in the ‘best use of digital by sector’ category.
